Blowouts & Bellinis!

We just booked our very first event! drybar will be hosting a "blowouts & bellinis" charity fundraiser in late February for 20 lucky ladies who will indulge in db blowouts and floaters (drybar lingo for scalp massage) as they raise money for their children's school!

We are so excited as we are hoping to make special events like this a big part of our business. If you are looking for a fun and unique idea or space for an upcoming party or event, let's talk!

Mommy, are you in there?

This is Michael, Alli's brother and drybar-partner-in-crime. I just couldn't resist posting this adorable pic of Alli's kids (Grant and Kit) and husband (Cam) visiting drybar the other night. How cute is that? :)

Sneak Peek!

Things are moving along quite nicely at drybar and demolition is just about finished. Yay! Here is a very rough sketch of the shop. Architects are coming in town next week to get all the contractors going. So many decisions to make everyday! I can't believe it is all happening.

Announcing drybar - Brentwood lease signed!

Hi. For those of you that don't know me yet, my name is Alli Webb and for the last few years I've been running a mobile blow dry business called Straight at Home. It's been so much fun and a great success! My little business has grown so much (thanks to my wonderful clients!) that now I'm opening my very own blow dry bar called drybar. The concept is simple: No cuts. No color. Just amazing blowouts for only $35 bucks. And, as of today, I will officially be doing business, and providing the same wonderful mobile blowouts, just under the Drybar name - so don't worry!

(And I just have to say... I'm beyond excited about it!)

Our first location will be in the Brentwood Gardens Plaza at San Vicente and Barrington (next to Ron Herman and across the street from Tavern).

We're working with an outstanding architecture firm in New York called Lacina Heitler and I simply could not be more excited about the plans! (I'll post some of their ideas for the space soon.)

Stay tuned for progress on construction, grand opening news + specials, as well as lots of great hair tips + tricks. I truly appreciate all of the help, feedback + encouragement everyone has given me so far, and hope you will continue to share your thoughts and ideas as we get closer to opening day.

Lots more to come....I can't wait to unveil all the unique aspects of drybar (Hint, hint, happy hour anyone?)

Here's to great hair,
Alli
